Chimac International School is a unique non-profit-making, comprehensive day school established August 1st, 2014 to break new grounds in the area of facilitating and actualising the potential of its students.

It is our strong conviction that the products of this school would be brilliant, focussed and endowed youth who are fully prepared academically, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, young adults who would contribute the best to our society.

Chimac Int'l. School is a student-centred school where the classroom, the sports field, the laboratories and workshops are structured to give the best to the students.

Brief History

Chimac international school started in August, 2014 with free August Lesson ran by the newly interviewed/employed Teachers. The school is over a decade now. The name Chimac is an acronym of the first late of the names of four children of chief Patrick Okwara and Late Lolo Justina A. Okwara ( Chinenye, Ifeanyi, Mmesoma, and Chijioke). Late Lolo Okwara was the vision carrier of CHIMAC supported by her dear husband. This school was started on a divine mandate. She would say " I always hear a voice telling me; Build school." She has passion for children, Education and excellence and these are shown in what we can see today in the school.

Profile of Founder

Late Mrs. Justina Okwara was born on October 1960, she completed her OND in secretarial studies at Rivers State University of science and technology and later proceeded to obtain her HND from Federal Polytechnic Bori. She also had masters degrees from National Open University.

Profile of School Director.

Chief Patrick Uche Okwara was born in 1956 to the family of Duruonwunere Uyanwa Okwara of Umudurmhiom Community in Umuma Isi aku in Ideato L. G. A. of Imo State. He obtained his first degree at Panjab University and proceed to Rajastan University in India where he obtained his masters degree. Presently, he is a successful business man. He was happily married to Late Lolo Justina Okwara and the Family was blessed with Four children.
